Tibor Vincze
Managing Director, Entrepreneur, Company Director, Owner
“My main goal is the satisfaction of our customers.”
Who I am
I am the founder, owner, and managing director of VT-SERVICE s.r.o. I have been active in the industry for almost five decades, during which I have gained extensive technical, business, and managerial experience.
VT-SERVICE s.r.o. will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2027.
Our company is one of the leading players in industrial automation in the region. In addition to automation, we also work in measurement and control technology, drive technology, switching and safety technology, as well as robotics.
We provide comprehensive service in every area we work in.
As a complementary activity, for 9 years we have been the exclusive distributor of Norwegian NOBO electric heating panels in Slovakia, and we are continuously expanding our offering.
Today, I also draw on my long-standing technical and business experience in consulting and mentoring.
In the technical field, I specialize mainly in the comprehensive automation, modernization, and maintenance of production machinery and industrial equipment.
I pay particular attention to the concept of Industry 4.0 and the use of modern solutions related to it.
In business, my strengths include, above all, strategic planning and management. Throughout my career, I have also gained extensive experience in crisis management and business leadership. In the company I lead, innovation, creativity, and continuous development have always held an important place.
The beginnings of my career
First steps (1978–1990)
In 1978, I started working at Plant 02 of the paper mill in Štúrovo as an instrument mechanic.
After completing my military service, I returned to the same plant in 1981 and continued my professional career there.
I owe a great deal to my parents, from whom I inherited values such as a love of work, perseverance, and respect for others. Family and friends have always been very important to me, and I could rely on their support throughout my career.
Thanks to persistent and honest work, from 1985 I worked as a technician on the SIEMENS TELEPERM M computer system, which was used for production control.
In my youth, I long hesitated between two great passions – football and a professional career. In the end, I decided to continue building my professional career.
The path to my own business (1990–1997)
From 1990, I worked as a foreman and later as a technologist, first at Plant 02 and later at Plant 01.
In 1992, I started my own business, and even then I was increasingly involved in the commercial side of the enterprise.
I then decided to take another significant step and enrolled at the Budapest branch of Oxford Brookes University, where I earned an MBA degree.
In 1997, I founded my own company, VT-SERVICE CENTER.
Growth and expansion (1997–2008)
In the beginning, my goal was to identify market gaps in our region and respond to them actively and flexibly.
At that time, the company’s main activity was mainly the service and maintenance of measurement and control equipment.
Despite the challenging early years, I gradually expanded our range of services according to customer needs.
Over the years, the number of employees also grew, and by 2005 we already employed 22 people.
During this period, we were no longer active only in the domestic market but had successfully established ourselves abroad as well.
We carried out most of our projects in Hungary, but we also worked in the Czech Republic, Austria, and Poland.
We also carried out individual projects in China, Russia, and Algeria.
A significant part of these contracts already consisted of industrial automation projects.
The company achieved its highest turnover in the period from 2000 to 2008.
Crisis, stabilization and a new era (2008–present)
The global economic crisis, however, hit us directly as well. The following 2 to 3 years were therefore primarily a period of struggle to maintain the company’s stability.
The period after 2010 meant stabilization and a new beginning for both me and the company.
It could be said that a new era in the life of our company began at that time. I learned that business is a constant struggle in which change is a permanent part of it, and that it is therefore essential to be able to adapt continuously.
Thanks in part to the experience we gained during this period, we successfully navigated the Covid-19 pandemic, and the company managed to maintain good results even during that time.
One of the most important pillars of our success has always been creativity, continuous innovation, and openness to further development.
We could only achieve all of this because we constantly monitored our customers’ needs and strove to meet them at the highest possible level.
The foundation for me has always been, and remains, the high professional readiness of the VT-SERVICE team, as well as providing quality products and services to our customers.
Even today, I follow the same principles as at the beginning of my career: customer satisfaction, reliably completed work, and continuous development.
